Dentist Appointment

APPOINTMENT PREP:

Please take a look at these directions and tips to prepare yourself for your appointment. Be ready o relax and take a nap while your lashes are transformed!

  • Keep talking and movement to a minimum so that the lash extensions can be properly applied.

  • Use the restroom before your appointment. If you need to use the restroom during your appointment, I will have to spend time taking off the items I use for application during lashing, then reapply the items, which will take time away from your appointment.

 

  • Turn your phone on silent.  Let your loved ones know that you won't be able to answer the phone or respond to texts for the duration of your appointment.

 

  • It is recommended that you remove your contact lenses before your appointment.

 

  • Due to health and safety concerns, guests, kids and pets will not be allowed to come to lash appointments.

  • Please don't chew gum during your appointment

  • Payments accepted: cash or card. Venmo is  accepted.

  • Keep my policies in mind, and reach out with any questions you have beforehand!

Read over DLS’s Terms + Policies ahead of time, so you can breeze right thought your new client paperwork.

  • Thoroughly remove all eye make up with an oil-free cleanser before your appointment.  I suggest cleaning your lash line at least two times before your appointment to make that they are free of any makeup residue. If your lashes are dirty, I will have to take the time during your appointment to clean them before starting to apply lash extensions. Dirty lashes = less lashing time.

  •  If you usually wear waterproof makeup (including waterproof eyeliners, mascaras, and fiber-mascaras) please wash off well and discontinue use 72 hours prior to your appointment.

  •  Wash off lash serums well and do not apply the day of your appointment. Stop oil use on the lashes (castor, coconut, etc) at least 48 hours in advance.

 

  • Avoid caffeine the day of your appointment.  Caffeine can make your eyes twitch, which makes it difficult to safely apply lash extensions.

 

  • Arrive on time.  Plan some extra travel time in case you run in to traffic.  If you are late to your appointment, this time is deducted from your appointment time.

Running late?

On the day of, the best way to connect is via text message or phone call. I rarely get to the phone during the day because I am with clients, but do my best to respond to all messages ASAP. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. DLS requires 48 hours notice for ALL appointment adjustments and cancellations. Reminder texts/emails are sent as a courtesy to help you remember your set appointment time.

  2. Any changes before the 48 hr mark are accessible to you via your reminder confirmations, your online profile in our scheduler, or by text/phone call to DLS directly. Get at it!

  3. Changes after the 48 hr mark (…the start time of your appt) result in a 50% service charge fee. 48 hrs-24 hrs adjustments require 50% payment of scheduled service.. Your card on file will be charged (or deposit will be applied), +/or you will be invoiced with 1 week to pay.

  4. All adjustments made within 24 hours of your appointment’s start time are considered ‘same day adjustments’ and are subject to a 100% service charge.  Adjustments made 24 hrs ahead of time + on the same day as your service are considered same day adjustments and are subject to 100% payment of scheduled service. Your card on file will be charged (or deposit will be applied), +/or you will be invoiced with 1 week to pay.
